The former is realized by applying a resin adsorption layer, which has an excellent adsorption capacity and does not harm a human body, to the front of the wig cap as well as the entire part or at regular intervals on the inside of its band; and the latter is realized by mixing (or adding) liquefied germanium (Ge) with the resin adsorption layer, whereby an ionization energy and far-infrared activation energy radiated from germanium stabilizes brain waves in the head and resolves side effects of unstable brain waves, i.e. insomnia, stress, headache etc.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention [0001]
  • The present invention relates to a wig cap made of real hair. More particularly, the present invention relates to a wig cap, which is not easily taken off the head because of wind or some motions of a cap wearer and can be a great help for reducing insomnia, stress and headache and improving concentration and memory. [0002]
  • 2. Description of the Related Art [0003]
  • In chemistry, germanium (Ge) is a metal, whose atomic number is 32, atomic weight is 72.39, specific gravity is 5.325 (at 25° C.), and boiling point is 2,700° C. [0004]
  • To see its other properties, germanium has also semiconductor characteristics in that when a foreign substance approaches to its 32 electrons, one of four electrons on the outside shell runs away from the shell and is coupled with an electron from the foreign substance and then pulls this to an empty space, exchanging with another electron (ion-exchange reaction), and forcefully radiates far-infrared rays, thereby actively producing interferon known as an antineoplastic (anti-cancer) substance inside the body and promoting more oxygen supply and further metabolism. • Usually germanium is divided into inorganic germanium and organic germanium. Particularly, the plants listed in the above Table 1 contain plenty of organic germanium. The organic germanium extracted from them is applied to a variety of fields, such as, hot spring (spa), medical supplies, tableware (dishes or bowls), or clothes. [0006]
  • In fact, there have been a number of researches on the effects of germanium, and as a result thereof, diverse effects of germanium are known to the public. [0007]
  • For example, germanium is known to be very effective for oxygen supply (oxygen substitution), anionic effect with an aid of its semiconductor properties (i.e. controlling current flow in endocells), reinforcing immunity of the body, inducing interferon produce, promoting endorphin produce, relieving pain, serving as an antidote and egesting metal substance inside the body, strengthening a natural healing capacity, and dehydrogenation. [0008]
  • Despite these benefits, there was not a single case where germanium was applied to the wig cap made of real hair. [0009]
  • Normally, a conventional wig cap generally consists of a front part, a band part, and a cover band part, where the band having a little bit of tension simply serves to prevent the wig from being slipped off the head although this fact actually attracted many people to put on a wig without worrying about its being slipping off on an unexpected occasion. [0010]
  • In other words, when a person tries to put on the wig cap on his head, the wig cap primarily functioned to hold the person's hair inside the cap. [0011]
  • However, this kind of wig cap was not able to stabilize brain waves of the head and further release insomnia, stress or headache caused by unstable brain waves. Rather, the tension of the band gave rise to a side effect on the cap wearer's head, i.e. compressing the head too much. [0012]
  • In order to overcome the side effect discussed above, some manufacturers made the band of the wig cap somewhat loose, but this only degraded the closeness of fit between the head and the cap wearer. [0013]
  • For instance, if the tension of the band is reduced, the closeness between the head and the wig (or cling of the wig to the head) is noticeably lowered when it is windy (especially when there is a strong wind at the beach or riverside or when there is a gale in general) or when the cap wearer makes a violent motion, and the wig inevitably slips off. [0014]
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • It is, therefore, an object of the present invention to provide a wig cap made of real hair that is not easily slipped off because of wind or some violent motions of a cap wearer by applying a resin adsorption layer to the front of the wig cap as well as the entire part or at regular intervals on the inside of its band. [0015]
  • Another object of the present invention is to provide a wig cap that can be a great help for reducing insomnia, stress and headache and improving concentration and memory by applying liquefied germanium (Ge) to the front, band and cover of the wig cap or mixing liquefied germanium with the resin adsorption layer, whereby an ionization energy and far-infrared activation energy radiated from germanium stabilizes brain waves in the head and resolves side effects of unstable brain waves on the head, i.e. insomnia, stress, headache etc.[0016]

  • FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating a wig cap in accordance with a fifth embodiment of the present invention, in which an adsorbent band to which germanium is applied is attached to a band part of the wig cap without employing an adsorbing projection.[0026]
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • A preferred embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. [0027]
  • FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a wig cap in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention, in which the wig cap consists of a front part and band part to which a resin adsorption layer containing germanium is applied, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the wig cap according to the first embodiment taken along line A-A of FIG. 1. [0028]
  • As depicted in the drawing, the wig cap consists of a [0029] front part 1, a band part 2, and a cover band part 3, which are typically seen in a conventional wig cap 100, plus a resin adsorption layer 10 applied to the front part 1 and the band part 2 for preventing the wig cap 100 from being slid off by wind or a cap wearer's motion.
  • The [0030] resin adsorption layer 10 contains liquefied germanium (Ge).
  • Also, the [0031] resin adsorption layer 10 could be applied to the front part 1 and the band part 2 before they fit in the wig cap 100, or it could be applied to the front part 1 and the band part 2 after the wig cap 100 is completed.
  • Preferably, the [0032] resin adsorption layer 10 is made of adsorptive rubber, soft silicon, or urethane material, which is not harmful to a human body. But other kinds of materials can be also used as long as they do not harm the human body.
  • According to the first embodiment, the [0033] adsorption layer 10, which has an excellent adsorption capacity and does not harm a human body, is applied to the front part 1 as well as the band part 2 of the wig cap 100, and liquefied germanium (Ge) is added into the resin adsorption layer 10.
  • As such, the [0034] resin adsorption layer 10 helps the front part 1 and the band part 2 to be closely clung to the head of a cap wearer so the wig cap 100 does not easily slid off the head despite a strong wind or violent motions made by the cap wearer.
  • Meanwhile, germanium (Ge) mixed with the [0035] resin adsorption layer 10 radiates an ionization energy and far-infrared activation energy to the person wearing the wig cap 100, thereby stabilizing brain waves of the user and releasing insomnia, stress and headache from unstable brain waves and improving concentration and memory.
  • FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a wig cap in accordance with a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the [0036] resin adsorption layer 100 is applied to the front part 1 and band part 2 of the wig at regular intervals. Since the effects of the wig cap in this embodiment are pretty much identical with those discussed in the first embodiment, no further explanation will be provided.
  • FIGS. 4 and 5 illustrate a wig cap according to the third embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the drawings, the [0037] wig cap 100 consists of the front part 1, the band part 2, and the cover band part 3, in which liquefied germanium is applied to the entire part of the cap.
  • That is, liquefied germanium that radiates ionization energy and far-infrared activation energy is applied to the surfaces of the [0038] front part 1, the band part 2, and the cover band part 3 of the wig cap 100, and then compressed by a high-pressure roller (not shown).
  • The reference numerals used in the first embodiment are again used for the same parts in the second embodiment, and the description on those parts will not be provided here. [0039]
  • FIGS. 6 through 8 illustrate a wig cap in accordance with the fourth embodiment. [0040]
  • In this embodiment, a plurality of [0041] adsorbent bands 20 is attached to the front part 1 and the band part 2 of the wig cap 100 at regular intervals to prevent the wig cap 100 from being slid off by wind or some violent motions of the cap wearer.
  • Also, a plurality of adsorbing [0042] projections 21 with a predetermined tension is protruded from one side of the adsorbent band 20, helping the band to be securely adhered to the head.
  • Moreover, liquefied germanium is applied to the surface of the [0043] adsorbent bend 20 from which the adsorbing projections 21 are protruded.
  • In short, the wig cap according to the fourth embodiment is different from the previous examples in that a plurality of [0044] adsorbent bands 20 with a plurality of adsorbing projections 21 therefrom are formed at regular intervals not only in the front part 1 of the wig cap but also in the band part 2 of the wig cap, and liquefied germanium is applied to the surface of the adsorbent bands 20.
  • Those [0045] adsorbent projections 21 protruded from one side of the adsorbent band 20, using their tension, make sure that the front part 1 and the band part 2 of the wig cap 100 are tightly fit to the head of the cap wearer (or the user). In this manner, no matter how strongly the wind blows or how violently the user move, the wig cap 100 would not easily slid off the user's head.
  • As discussed before, liquefied germanium is applied to the surface of the [0046] adsorbent band 20 from which a plurality of adsorbing projections are protruded.
  • Anytime a person wears the [0047] wig cap 100 with the adsorbent bands 20, the germanium will radiate the ionization energy and the far-infrared activation energy to the person, and contributes to the stabilization of brain waves of the person, consequently releasing insomnia, stress and headache caused by unstable brain waves and highly improving concentration and memory.
  • The [0048] adsorbent band 20 and adsorbing projections 21 are preferably made of adsorptive rubber, soft silicon, or urethane material, which is not harmful to a human body. But other kinds of materials can be also used as long as they do not harm the human body.
  • Again, the same reference numerals used in the first embodiment are used in this present embodiment if they refer to the same parts. [0049]
  • FIG. 9 illustrates a wig cap in accordance with the fifth embodiment of the present invention. What is different from the wig cap in the fourth embodiment is that there are no adsorbing [0050] projections 21 at regular intervals. Instead, only the adsorbent band 21′ to which liquefied germanium is applied is attached to the front part 1 and the band part 2 of the wig cap 100. Since the other parts are basically the same with ones in the fourth embodiment, they are indicated by the same reference numerals and no description on them is provided.
  • As another embodiment of the present invention (although this is not illustrated here), a powder type antibiotic substance can be added into the [0051] resin adsorption layer 10 so as to protect the head of the cap wearer from any infection.
  • As still further embodiment of the present invention (This is not illustrated here, either.), a powder type far-infrared radioactive substance can be added into the [0052] resin adsorption layer 10, whereby the far-infrared rays radiated from the substance can promote the circulation of blood around the head of the cap wearer.
  • In conclusion, the wig cap of the present invention can be very advantageously used in viewpoints that it is not easily taken off the head because of wind or some violent motions of a cap wearer and can be a great help for reducing insomnia, stress and headache and improving concentration and memory. [0053]
  • While the invention has been shown and described with reference to certain preferred embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims. [0054]
