Definitions
- the invention relates generally to the sector of costume jewelery, luxury jewelery, fine jewelry, perfumery, ornaments for animals, and is applicable in these fields as well as in wig and hairdressing techniques.
- the present invention relates to a device for placing ornamental elements in the hair, 1 comprising a fine loop 2 crimped or otherwise blocked at one end 4, adapted to cooperate with an ornament 7 itself comprising a support 8 adapted to be able to be fixed on or around the loop 2 and at least one hair ornament 9 secured to said support.
- said support 8 consists of a body comprising a means making it possible to pinch said support on the branches of loop 2, to grip the latter, or an open internal conduit at its two ends, allowing said support to be threaded onto said branches of the loop 2, and the like which will be obvious to those skilled in the art, the means considered being adapted in an accessible manner to those skilled in the art as having to allow the positioning of the support (bearing the ornament) on loop 2 then sliding along this loop, as will be said below.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a device according to the invention, 1, on which is threaded by way of nonlimiting example an ornament formed of a support 8 threaded on the loop 10, 11 and an ornament properly said 9 glued or otherwise fixed to the top of said support 8;
- FIG. 2 represents the invention in modular form: A represents the crimping module 6, B represents the “loop” module
- FIG. 3 represents a nonlimiting example of the ornament 9, here of the faceted type affecting a resemblance to a diamond cut; 4 shows a preferred example of support for said ornament 9, intended to be threaded on the loop (as shown in Figure 1) through a channel 13; 5 shows a front view of a generally flattened form of crimping, composed of two sheets of aluminum or plastic 14 and 15 glued, providing a channel 12 for crimping the end of the rods 10 and 11 of the loop (possibly two adjacent channels 12 and 12 'could each be provided for crimping a rod 10 and respectively 11); Figure 6 shows in section the crimping in the area 13 (cf. Figure 1 or 7) with two adjacent channels 12 and 12 'each receiving a rod 10 or 11 respectively; - Figure 7 shows the device according
- the device 1 therefore essentially comprises a loop 2 preferably pointed at one end 3 and crimped at the other end 4 by a crimp 6.
- This crimping 6 is a mass of generally flattened shape surrounding the two free ends 4 of the loop, for example a mass of resin or other plastic material hot-set around the ends, or a mass of glue deposited around said ends, by deposition, dipping, etc. or else a plastic mass split according to approximately 3/4 of a diameter, slot in which the two ends of the loop, before pinching or crimping the assembly.
- This crimping can also be carried out by a mass of resin or other plastic material comprising a coaxial channel into which the two ends of said loop 2 are introduced, before pinching or crimping the assembly, or even gluing the assembly.
- any material which is not toxic to humans can be used, such as various plastics, resins, metals, wood, or fabrics.
- crimping of aluminum or plastic. Most preferably, it is formed ( Figure 5) of 2 aluminum or plastic plates 14 upper and 15 lower inside which at least one channel 12 is formed to contain the end of the steel rod (or loop 10, 11). Optionally, two channels 12 and 12 ′ will be formed side by side (variant represented in FIG. 6, which represents, without limitation, a crimping zone at the start of crimping - zone marked by the reference 13 in FIG. 1 or FIG. 7) between the two aluminum or plastic plates to accommodate the rods 10 and 11 respectively.
- the loop 2 may be formed of two branches 10, 11 free at their end 4 and joined at the end 3, or else be a loop whose ends 4 are already joined together as the opposite end 3.
- the skilled person will have understood that one designates here by “loop” an assembly formed by two branches 10, 11 joined to one (3) or their ends (3 and 4) as it has just been said, forming a very elongated oval as represented on Figure 7.
- the end 3 is pointed or angular, to facilitate the arrangement of the support 8.
- the loop 2 is intended to cooperate with ornaments 7 essentially consisting of a support 8 adapted to be threaded or otherwise pinched or disposed (as indicated above) on or around said loop 2, and the ornament itself 9 secured to said support.
- the loop can be made of any metal wire of small diameter which is not toxic to humans, such as stainless spring steel, etc ... or any semi-rigid plastic wire.
- the diameter must be such that it maintains the very elongated oval shape of the "loop" but is small enough so that the loop is easily deformable and manipulable to easily allow the operations described above.
- the best embodiment of the rod or loop to date is a spring wire made of stainless spring steel.
- the support 8 of the ornament 9 can be made of any material which is not toxic to humans, and which is flexible enough to allow the fixing and sliding operations described above; for example elastomer sheath, in particular neoprene, silicone, sheath in other food-grade plastic and the like.
- This support can, like crimping 6 at the end 4 of the loop, be pierced with a coaxial channel 12 or two channels 12, 12 '; it is then a sheath, or be incised over about 3/4 of its diameter to allow pinching.
- the preferred embodiment is a neoprene sheath, but materials such as silicones or elastomers can also be used.
- said silicone, neoprene or elastomer sheath is rough enough at its coaxial channel to hold slightly in place on the loop, then on the lock of hair, without unexpectedly slipping.
- the choice of another material should also be made on a sufficiently rough or "gripping" material.
- One of the very important advantages of the invention is in fact to allow the individual and precise positioning of one or more ornaments in selected positions on a wick.
- Said ornaments can be of any type such as a pearl, a small mass (for example plastic, resin and the like) colored, or transparent, or colorless, or shiny, possibly itself carrying glitter, strands of hair and all elements decorative items easily accessible to those skilled in the art.
- Said ornamental mass 9 can affect any shape, for example that imitating various diamond sizes, a circle, a square, a hemisphere, a faceted hemisphere, etc.
- the invention also relates to the method of laying ornaments 9 in the hair, characterized in that it comprises the following steps: o a device 1 is used as described above, comprising a loop 2 formed by two semi branches - rigid 10, 11, having one end 3 for threading and another end 4 set in a generally flattened setting, the loop defining a very elongated oval, o as well as at least one ornament 7 comprising a slightly rough support 8 such as a neoprene or silicone sheath, capable of being threaded, pinched or otherwise arranged on said loop, so as to be able to slide therein or slide, and at least one ornamental element 9 we thread said support 8 on said loop 2, we pass a lock of hair in said loop, we transfer the support 8 carrying the ornament 9 (by sliding along said loop 2), on said lock of hair, and we remove said device 1.
- a device 1 is used as described above, comprising a loop 2 formed by two semi branches - rigid 10, 11, having one end 3 for threading and another end 4 set in
- the invention also relates to the ornaments for hair 7 comprising a slightly rough support 8 such as a silicone sheath, or made of plastic, or support of this type incised about 3/4 of a diameter, and able to be threaded, pinched or otherwise disposed on said loop, so as to be able to slide or slide therein, at least one ornamental element 9 secured to said support, of any shape and material whatsoever, in particular imitation diamonds, circular or semi-spherical masses, faceted or not, possibly carrying decorative elements such as glitter or brilliants and the like.
- a slightly rough support 8 such as a silicone sheath, or made of plastic, or support of this type incised about 3/4 of a diameter, and able to be threaded, pinched or otherwise disposed on said loop, so as to be able to slide or slide therein
- at least one ornamental element 9 secured to said support of any shape and material whatsoever, in particular imitation diamonds, circular or semi-spherical masses, faceted or not, possibly carrying decorative elements such as glitter or brilliants
- Said ornament can be replaced by an “active element”, or be combined with an “active element”, chosen from the group consisting of perfumed jewelry, perfume diffusers, perfume testers, hair color testers, pieces supported by several sheaths (for example: cloth), dog jewelry, dog diffusers, drug product diffusers for dogs, jewelry for horsehair.
- Said support 8 may be of any shape allowing the passage of the loop, and will be chosen on essentially aesthetic criteria, in order to be in harmony with the ornament 9.
